The user of the name West Cork Burger Company associates our company with the values of West Cork whilst emphasising Burger Company signifies something bigger than just another fast food restaurant. The importance and emphasis demonstrates that it is not just a burger, but a new culinary experience. The simple use of the word burger also means that while it is very obvious to the customer what we do, when used as an incorporated part of the company title it instils and maintains a more sophisticated feeling of superior quality, passion and dedication. The name West Cork Burger Company allows us to introduce the Wagyu Burger – whether it’s ‘’Home of the Wagyu’’ or ‘’Introducing the Wagyu’’, the Best Burger on the Planet. We want to be known for our Farmer, Butcher, Chef Philosophy with full traceability from farm to fork displayed in the restaurant at all times. Burger Buns will be bought in the from a local artisan Baker, meat will come from local farmers and be butchered by Michel Twomey in Macroom and will be minced fresh daily in-house. Cheeses will be sourced from local suppliers. Toppings and sides will be created in-house in the upstairs production kitchen. Most sauces will be made in-house, with the exception of normal ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard. Chips will be chipped in-house using the best quality potatoes on the market.
